How do I report a crime?
If the crime is in progress, please dial 911 and an operator will assist you. If the crime has already occurred, you may dial 911 or you may call the non-emergency number – (706) 672-3809.
How do I contact someone with the Police Department?
If you need to talk with an officer immediately, please call 911 or (706) 672-3809 and ask the dispatcher to have an officer meet with you.
Our administrative offices are open Monday through Friday 8:00 am until 4:00 pm and you may call (706) 553-2211 during these hours to speak with a clerk about police reports, citations, or court related questions.
When are you open?
Officers of the police department patrol the streets 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but the administrative offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 4:00. Closed on Holidays.
