The City of Woodbury received re-designation 2021 as a Broadband Ready Community!

The City of Woodbury is the first city to earn this distinct designation.

 The Georgia Broadband Deployment Initiative (GBDI) team wishes to extend our Congratulations to The City of Woodbury for being designated as a “Broadband Ready Community!” You have successfully become designated by completing the online application form and demonstrating compliance with the adoption of both a Comprehensive Plan inclusive of the broadband services element and a Model Ordinance to assist in streamlining the permitting process. 

Becoming a Broadband Ready Community shows collaboration and innovation in addition to demonstrating that the City has identified broadband as an essential infrastructure in furthering your community.
